The Catalina 16.5 has a main and jib rig. The big, roomy cockpit is ideal for family outings with comfortable seats inboard and wide coamings.Available with Centerboard or fixed lead Keel [our stack boat has the fixed Keel], the Keel version is perfect for owners who like to keel the boat at the dock for most of the season. While retaining all of the deck features, sailplan and styling of the Centerboard model, a molded in sealed bilge sump is included on the Keel version. Both models come with self bailing cockpits, and a large forepeak storage chamber with watertight hatch. Also included is an anodized aluminum mast and boom, adjustable outhaul, stainless steel rigging and complete Dacron sails and running rigging.
